2020 has been an unusual year. A global pandemic set a restrictive tone to our movements and interactions. For many, 2020 will be a year to forget.

However, here we are,  in the late quarter of 2020 and regardless of how we started the year, it is only right to try and finish it on a better note.

This is how to do it:

Jos 1:8 KJV This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

In tough times it can be easy to get angry at God that your expectations are not being met. This can cause you to backslide and eventually lose faith. The best way to go, however, is to stay loyal in your pursuit of God. You need to avail yourself and constantly communicate with Him in order to know His plans for you.

Following God’s plans for your life is what would give you a fantastic finish to the year. You cannot fail once you know God’s plan and are meticulous in your obedience to Him.

Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied

It is important to be diligent in the endeavors of your desire is to end the year well. We cannot simply sit and desire that we’ll end the year on a high note without putting in some effort. Yes- we should pray and ask God to help us out, but we must also do our part.

Good things do not just fall on our laps. Hard work is an important virtue. This is the time to roll up your sleeves and finish hard!

The people you keep in touch with would have a considerable level of influence on you and your decision-making ability. Being with a group of people who are achievers and hard workers, would breed that drive and desire in you to keep pushing and pressing towards greatness.

The same way, being in a company of slackers would make you absorb that habit. In order to make positive progress in the year, be with positive people.

Proverbs 18:21 NIV

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Words have power and we need to be careful with them. The world was created with words so their importance cannot be overemphasized. Speaking positive words into your life would create positive situations for you. Do not wallow in defeat and speak negative words as a result.

Speak life into your situation, say good things about your self. You will succeed this year, you will fulfill your dreams, you’re great, you’re loved!!
