WHY WE COLLECT IT

We need to know your basic personal contact data to provide you with the content that you have agreed to receive. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service to you.

HOW WE COLLECT IT

We collect personal information from you when you provide it to us. For example, if you subscribe to our mobile app, we may collect your name, telephone number, credit card number, and email address. If you create an account, we may collect your name and email address as requested in the registration process.

If you communicate with us regarding our app or our services, we will collect any information that you provide to us in any such communication.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Your personal data will be kept until you unsubscribe from the list.

WHAT WE DO WITH IT

Your personal data will be used to provide you with information regarding updates or changes to our app or special events and features from Dominion Television. 

All the personal data collected is processed by the Dominion Television Administrative team. For the purpose of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers by a third-party mailing list management service. Some of the servers that host your personal data may be located in countries (including the United States) that do not provide a level of data protection equivalent to that of your home country. We will take appropriate steps to make sure that our service providers act in accordance with applicable law. Your personal data is not shared with or sold to third parties. 

WHAT YOUR RIGHTS ARE

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time via a link that is included in every mailing. Once you unsubscribe, you will not receive any more mailings from us.

 

If at any point you believe the data for you that we process is incorrect, contact admin@dominiontv.net.  You can request to see this data, and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, also contact admin@dominiontv.net.  Your issue will be forwarded to our compliance officer for more details and a solution. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your home country. 

Our Journey, Our Reach

From 2014 to early 2018, Dominion TV reached over 20 million viewers daily across 24 countries in West and Central Africa via MultiTV, on the Astra-4 Satellite. 
Dominion Television, rebranded, is now developing new content for its resumption on Pan-African platforms with new features, partnerships, and diverse programming. 
  • November 2014: Dominion TV produced its first live broadcast from the ACI Prayer Cathedral, featuring Bishop T.D. Jakes and a musical concert featuring Donnie McClurkin.

  • November 2015: Dominion Television launched the first Christian based news show in Ghana, “News in Brief”, filmed and broadcast daily. By 2016, ‘News in Brief’ was lauded as the most informative Christian news show in Ghana.

  • February 2017: The Archbishop’s wife, Lady Rosa Whitaker Duncan-Williams became a shareholder and the Vice Chairperson of Dominion Television. With an extensive background in business development in and around Africa, Lady Rosa’s leadership brings corporate principles and operational expertise to Dominion Television.

  • May 2017: Dominion TV produced its first full-length documentary, ‘Providence & Destiny: The Nicholas Duncan-Williams Story’.  The documentary premiered in Ghana on the occasion of the Archbishop’s 60th birthday. In August 2017, it premiered in the United States at the acclaimed Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington DC. 

  • August 2017: Dominion TV hosted and produced content for the Africa Business and Kingdom Leadership Summit, the first in Africa to promote Christian-based business leadership. Featured speakers included Mrs. Folorunsho Alakijia (Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist), Bishop T.D. Jakes (U.S.-based preacher and businessman) and His Excellency, Nana Akufo-Addo, President of Ghana.

  • December 2017: Dominion Television produced its first international broadcast in partnership with The Word Network. The Archbishop is the first African based preacher to broadcast live from Africa on their network.

  • April 2019: Dominion Television hosted the African premiere of the Hollywood film, ‘Mully’- the true story of Kenyan based Dr. Charles Mulli, acclaimed philanthropist and social entrepreneur.

  • January 2020: Dominion Television is launched on DStv Channel 364 and GOtv Channel 181 (Ghana), reaching millions of viewers in 48 countries.
